Set It Off

November 17th, 2025 | The Observatory, Santa Ana, CA

Set It Off’s show at The Observatory in Santa Ana felt like a true comeback moment. The band, who started in 2008 with their earliest releases, has been through a lot with label changes, setbacks, and now a fully independent chapter. But on this tour, they proved they’re stronger than ever.

Hearing the songs from their new self-titled album live was a highlight. This record feels like their most honest work yet, and the band performed it with a renewed fire that filled the room. Cody Carson’s vocals were more intense and heartfelt than ever, backed by Zach DeWall’s sharp guitar lines and Maxx Danziger’s explosive drumming.

Fans also got to relive the earlier eras, with tracks from Cinematics and Duality sparking huge sing-alongs. Still, it was the new material that truly showed their growth and independence.

The energy never dipped, the crowd was fully locked in, and by the end it was clear: Set It Off’s independent era might just be their best yet.
